I recently rented a dumpster for the first time. I originally rented a 10 yard size but it was too big for my driveway and had to return it for a smaller one. Pirate dumpsters did eventually deliver a 3 yard size. I was told by Duane I would receive a credit back to my credit card for using a smaller dumpster. We filled it up in a day and we were calling for a pickup after 2 days. Our house is in a Homeowners Association so you can only have a dumpster in your driveway for up to seven days. I called and left messages for Duane and also emailed the company for almost 2 weeks and only got radio silence. I explained to them we needed our driveway to park cars but more importantly, I was going to be fined by the Association. It wasn’t until my wife called from her place of employment that Duane finally answered the phone. He must have thought it was a new potential customer and that is why, I believe, he answered the call. My personal experience with Pirate Dumpsters has not been good. Bad customer service and not following through on what they say they will do. They finally picked up the dumpster 10 days after I initially requested it. I have yet to receive my credit for using a smaller dumpster. Very frustrating and annoying experience to say the least. I am positive there is more courteous and professional rental companies. I am very dissatisfied with Pirate Dumpsters. -Rick Uribe
