The dumpster rental industry has various charging methods. Sometimes these methods can be very confusing for the customers. It would be so nice to have every dumpster company using one method of charging. For example if you call for a quote and you are told that your bin rental is a certain, fixed amount of money and we include some weight with that rental .

Well what if you go over that weight? Is it a expensive over weight charge if you go beyond your included weight? Is anything free these day's really? How about if your told that there is a fuel surcharge? The agent on the phone can't tell you that amount of money but it will be on your invoice and your visa or MasterCard will be charged for that.

There is so many factors in the dumpster rental that makes it hard for a level shopping when getting quotes and it shouldn't be that way. How many lbs in a ton? How many bundles in a ton? How will that effect my final billing? Heavy skids thrown on the load of shingles? What about the neighborhood? Did anyone throw anything in my roll off dumpster to elevate my invoice ? Should we take a photo of contents in our bin to check up on the people next door before we go to work in the am?
